Captivate Celebrates Leading at All Levels in Women in Business Content Series
NEW YORK – February 27, 2025 – Captivate, North America’s leading digital-out-of-home video network, is launching its anticipated Women in Business content series this March with a fresh focus on how leadership manifests at every career stage.
In what has become a key tentpole event on Captivate, over 50 prominent female professionals from top brands such as Google, Spotify, Wells Fargo, Bloomberg, Wyndham Hotels and GroupM will share their advice on how they define success, their secret weapon that helps them shine, and – in true Taylor Swift fashion – what business ‘era’ they’re in.
The theme of the series this year is Leading At All Levels, putting an extra spotlight on success with suggestions from women at various stages of their career. Advice featured in the campaign includes:
- “Lead by example, empower your team against their goals and know when to step in and when to step out of their way,” Allison Burley, Director of Sales, Canada, Spotify
- “I own my mistakes, learn fast, and stay accountable. Admitting missteps builds trust, fuels growth and turns setbacks into wins!” Kandace Barker, Head of B2B, Initiative
- “I’m in my ‘let’s see what we can do’ era. I’m taking on things I haven’t done before, and can’t wait to see what I learn over the next few years,” Rosie O’Meara, CEO, GroundTruth
- “Don’t let a job, any job, subsume your personality. What makes you unique makes you powerful,” Yelena Dasher, Director of Digital and Social Media, BNP Paribas
Additionally, Captivate’s research arm, Office Pulse, dug deep into emerging trends across the professional landscape and found women are facing new challenges and opportunities in career mobility, workplace culture, and leadership development. The study found only about a third of women (36%) have embraced generative AI for work-related tasks compared to nearly half of men (49%).
Other insights from the Captivate Office Pulse study include:
- Most women (80%) who do use AI have taught themselves
- 42% of women who haven’t adopted AI say it’s due to a lack of education and understanding

Throughout the month, Captivate’s Content Team will create over a dozen custom curated features, including:
- Digital Disruptors: Women in tech who have steered advancements in their industry
- Empowering Altruism: Verified charities that support women & girls around the world
- Winning Women: Female athletes at the top of their game
Addressing the technology adoption gap head-on, Captivate will host “Women in Business: Harnessing AI,” a seminar and networking event in partnership with the Canadian Marketing Association, on March 7 in Toronto.
