Chelmsford, Mass. and Chicago – January 28, 2010 – Captivate Network and Office Media Network today announced that they have entered into a comprehensive settlement agreement to resolve litigation pending between the companies involving certain of Captivate Network’s patents and Office Media Network's elevator display system.

Captivate Network has strengthened its position in the high-end Canadian office tower market by receiving new commitments from significant portfolio partners. These agreements mean that Captivate will continue to provide its service to over 170 buildings through 2016 and beyond. Captivate Network now has approximately 80 million square feet of Class A office space under contract representing over 1,750 elevators across the five largest Canadian markets where Captivate operates: Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. This represents 72 percent of the total available square footage in Captivate’s target markets.

Captivate Network has launched a new health and wellness blog designed to fit into the lifestyles of busy professionals who are concerned about fitness, but who don’t always have the time to hit the gym as often as they want. Written by an editor who lost 100 pounds through diet and exercise, “Weigh In,” at www.captivate.com, features advice on those topics, news on fitness trends, and a humorous take on issues like the health value of pickle juice. The new spots also enable advertisers to easily adapt 30-second spots used in other advertising media to appear on Captivate Network.
