Lindt Chocolatiers ![]() The shiny red box of Lindt chocolates sat on the tasting table as the very last chocolates left. We fully admit to over-looking Lindt because, ‘Well, we know what those taste like.’ Make no mistake, we are now hanging our heads in shame. After 160 years in the chocolate business, Lindt’s master Swiss chocolatiers haven’t lost their touch. Though the packaging was, as one reviewer put it, ‘a bit old-lady-chocolate-box’ with its pocketed slots for the foiled-wrapped truffles, inside was every molecule and then some of the creamy goodness we’ve come to expect and adore. There is just something about the familiar, sweet-silk texture and the melty ganache … it never grows old, nor any less enjoyable, to crack into one of them. And, we’re sure your Valentine would agree with us. | |
