Mike DiFranza
President & General Manager
Mike DiFranza serves as, president and is the founder of Captivate Network, the national news and entertainment network that delivers quality programming and advertising to a highly desirable and targeted audience during the workday. As a pioneer in the out of home video advertising market, Mike identified the shifting media consumption habits of consumers and the growing need for marketers to reach these consumers in the daily flow of their lives.
With this in mind, Mike set out to change the way consumers interact with media, giving advertisers a new medium to reach their target audience. By leveraging his more than 20 years of media, marketing and sales experience, Mike pioneered his vision into reality with the creation of Captivate Network.
As an advertising industry thought leader, Mike has helped to guide the overall development and evolution of the explosive out of home video advertising market. Mike has led Captivate through the company's rapid growth and expansion, as well as the successful acquisition by Gannett, Co. Inc. Under his leadership, Captivate is known today for delivering exceptional value to it's viewers, advertisers, programming and real estate partners.
Prior to founding Captivate, Mike served as the director for the Eastern U.S., Canadian and Latin American Business Units for Mentor Graphics. In that role, he supported the development of underlying technology for the media and telecommunications industries. Prior to his position with Mentor, Mike held various positions with Metheus Corporation and GCA Corporation.
In recognition of Mike's accomplishments and leadership in the media industry, Captivate has received the SBANE Innovation Award, the MIMC Leadership Award, and Mike was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards twice. Boston Business Forward also named him to its "Forward 40." Mike's views on the media industry have been shared on national news programs, including CNN, Marketwatch and MSNBC's 'The News with Brian Williams'. Additionally, Mike is a recognized expert in the media industry and has spoken at events such as the Canadian Digital Signage Summit; Strategic Research Institute's Marketing to the Mass Affluent; Forecast 2006; Maximizing Media Conference (Toronto) ; The Advertising Research Foundation's Advertising: What's Next? Conference; Deutsche Bank Media Conference; MIT Enterprise Forum; and SBANE (Smaller Business Association of New England) Awards Ceremony. Mike also serves on the Board of Directors of The Outdoor Advertising Association of America and is Chairman of OVAB.

Todd Newville
Vice President - Technology & Real Estate
As vice president of technology and real estate, Todd Newville brings more than 15 years of systems architecture and design experience to Captivate Network. Under his leadership, Captivate has secured 11 U.S. patents and three Canadian patents on the technology. Todd is also responsible for all sales, operations and support aspects of Captivate's real estate business. Todd has established relationships with top corporate real estate companies, including Equity Office Properties; Crescent Real Estate Equities, Ltd.; Tishman Speyer; Brookfield; SL Green Realty Corp.; and Boston Properties, Inc., helping Captivate to build its impressive cross-continent real estate portfolio. He has also been able to develop deep third party relationships with companies like Otis and Schindler to help deploy and maintain the network.
Prior to Captivate, Todd was with Mentor Graphics where he applied his design expertise in building state-of-the-art systems for the electronics industry. In this role, Todd established key relationships with leading companies, including Compaq, Ericsson, GE, IBM and Siemens, and grew Mentor Graphic's revenue by 500 percent. Prior to his position at Mentor, Todd was employed by Raytheon as a Senior Design Engineer.

Raymond Pineau
Vice President - Engineering & Technical Operations
As co-founder and vice president of engineering and technical operations, Raymond Pineau brings more than 20 years of management, engineering, manufacturing and start-up experience to Captivate Network. Ray uses his extensive engineering experience to design, develop and implement technical upgrades to the network operations making Captivate an award-winning company. In addition, Ray continues to provide customer support for the entire portfolio of buildings, and helps create new generations of products and architectures to enhance Captivate's product offerings.
Prior to joining Captivate, Ray held various engineering and management positions. He was Director of Advanced Product Development at Cabletron Systems, Inc and General Manager of the Merrimack, New Hampshire R&D Center. Before his positions with Cabletron, Ray served as the Director of Engineering at Datamedia Corporation and was a founder of Magna Computer Corporation, which was later acquired by EMC Corporation. Previously, Ray held various engineering management positions at Wang and Compugraphic.
Ray holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Kent Stout
Vice President & Business Manager
Kent Stout, vice president and business manager, brings more than 30 years of accounting and finance experience across a variety of industries including manufacturing, telecom, biotech, consumer goods, financial services and more, to Captivate Network. He is responsible for all of the financial reporting of the company and supervises the customer fulfillment department, which evaluates customer credit and ensures that customers' ads are aired. Kent joined Captivate in October 1999 when the company was a pre-revenue, start-up firm.
Previously, Kent was a partner with Deloitte, an international accounting, tax and consulting firm, where he advised companies on SEC registrations and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, as well as funding alternatives. In his role, Kent was responsible for the client relationships with many significant clients of the firm. He began his career with Deloitte in Colorado Springs before transferring to Detroit to work on the General Motors engagement. Subsequently, he transferred to Boston where he focused on the high technology and service industries.
Kent is a CPA and holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa.

Paul Jankauskas
Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales
Paul Jankauskas, senior vice president of advertising sales, brings more than 20 years of media industry and sales experience to Captivate Network. Since joining Captivate, Paul has led the restructuring effort of the sales team and has been a key component to the company's significant sales increase and expansion efforts throughout North America. In this role, Paul is responsible for the strategy and execution of the company's North American advertising sales plans.
Prior to joining Captivate, Paul was the vice president/general manager of Metro Networks/Shadow Broadcasting, a Westwood One Company, where he was responsible for the company's overall sales and broadcast operations in the Central US. During his tenure at Metro Networks/Shadow Broadcasting, Paul developed and executed a strategy to restructure and combine the sales and operations divisions of the company after the merger.
Before Metro Networks/Shadow Broadcasting, Paul was the vice president of sales and marketing at AccuWeather, a closely held, family-owned and operated business in Pennsylvania. This appointment was significant in that it made him the first executive hired outside of the family, and tasked him with aggressively growing the revenue of the business. Paul made a number of other key hires, restructured and grew the sales team and doubled the company's revenue in the first few years. He also developed and executed on the strategy that led to the launch of Accuweather.com as a successful advertising-supported, commercial Web site. Paul began his career at Dun & Bradstreet where he held several sales, sales management and executive management positions in the mid-Atlantic region.
Paul is a CPA and holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Villanova University.
