We are always looking for exceptional senior level business development professionals to join our New York City, Toronto, Chicago or Westwood, CA regional sales offices to grow Captivate's innovative narrowcast media services business -- rare opportunities to create unique and new business.

• The majority of effort will be to develop new business by seeking out advertising clients and agencies, and to a lesser extent, to generate renewal or incremental business from existing Captivate clients.
• Design and implement, in conjunction with our marketing team, integrated sales programs to successfully close advertising campaigns.
• Develop sales strategies to increase market share by working with our marketers and media programmers.
• Bring in Blue Chip national advertisers from diverse industries -- entertainment, financial, technology and travel, to name just a few.
• Meet and exceed revenue goals by initiating creative media programs and partnering with other regional sales executives to coordinate joint business opportunities.
• Focus on major account development with network-wide advertising potential.
  

• A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience that includes advertising sales, or selling any place-based, Out-Of-Home, emerging or alternative media.
• In-depth involvement in marketing and strategic business development, preferably in the non-traditional, out-of-home media space.
• The ability to work directly with potential clients and accompanying agencies throughout the region.
• Effective cold-calling skills.
• Great communication plus persuasive presentation skills.
• The passion to become a leader in the emerging digital video Out-Of-Home marketplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize multiple applications to design and modify ads through revisions and final production.
• Assist the Art Director in conceptualizing and developing creative for ads that reflect client's goals, identity and campaigns in Captivate's medium.
• Handle multiple projects while still delivering ads on time and within budget.
• Create and develop internal marketing materials.
• Illustrate ideas and create supplemental graphics.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure that the production of ads is consistent with the screen specifications.
• Maintain an awareness of current software and technical innovations that benefit the continued growth in ad quality and effectiveness.
• Demonstrate a desire to continually improve both ad production and design quality.

• This position requires flexibility between video, on-line advertising, traditional print and marketing collateral.
• We are looking for an imaginative individual with experience in a production-driven, deadline-oriented environment.
• An Associates or Bachelors degree in graphic design or an equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant multimedia design experience in an agency or similar environment. Experience emphasizing advertising and web design is preferred.
• A creative and detail orientation with a strong design sense of video or animation.
• A web portfolio that demonstrates multimedia design skills using a variety of styles and highlighting talents in time-based animation.
• Mac proficiency with PC familiarity.
• Solid expertise using AfterFX, Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• A flexible and positive attitude, the ability to collaborate and meet deadlines in a small team, dynamic design environment.

• Perform web searches for pertinent media information.
• Distribute marketing collateral to outside offices.
• Assist with the monthly Marketing Newsletter formatting.
• Archive industry publications.
• Format press clips into PowerPoint slide format.
• Organize building lists, tenant data, rate cards, etc.
• This internship may at times also support other areas at Captivate Network and may include some administrative support work.
• Transportation to and from work in Chelmsford.

• Work closely with other graphic designers and production associates to interpret the needs of clients and meet their advertising objectives.
• Take source materials typically in Photoshop and Illustrator formats and create finished ads in After Effects and Flash formats.
• The primary focus will be to design and produce network advertising for third party clients from conception through design to completion.
• Other duties include ad compression, flash animation, archiving media, web graphics and print collateral.
